1 in 4 marijuana users get high at work, according to a survey in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado.


1 in 4 also report getting high before work.


Many cannabis users increased their usage after legalization. Oregon has the highest percentage of self-reported users of these three states. 52% say they consume cannabis at least a few times a week.


In terms of household income and education, recreational cannabis users are very similar to the average American.


About half the people surveyed believe that staff at dispensaries are a trusted source of information about the safety and health of cannabis, over doctors and public health officials.


About half the respondents are completely transparent with family and friends about their cannabis use.


Smoking is the most popular way to consume cannabis.


About a quarter of those who took the survey use marijuana as an alternative to alcohol.
